We built Decor DNA for everyone who has saved hundreds of room photos without knowing what ties them together, and for anyone who wants to see a room redesigned before buying a single thing. Here is what you get on day one.
Find your interior design style in about two minutes
The style quiz is free. Swipe right on the rooms you would love to come home to and left on the ones that aren't you. In about two minutes you meet your Decor DNA: your main style plus the style that blends with it. There are 9 styles and 72 possible blends, so your result reads like you, not like a magazine label.
The nine styles are:
- Cottage, Home Sweet Home: fresh, relaxed and uncluttered, like a beach house or farmhouse.
- Earthy, The Rustic Life: weathered wood, stone and natural, hand-made textures.
- Nostalgic, Old World Charm: romantic, colorful and layered.
- Classic, Stately Tradition: elegant, formal and symmetrical.
- Opulent, Ancestral Estate: grand, rich and ornate.
- Artsy, The Brave and the Broke: imaginative, bohemian and rule-breaking.
- Cosmopolitan, Contemporary Luxe: spacious, serene and quietly luxurious.
- Urban Chic, Metropolitan Modern: sleek, graphic and colorful.
- Minimalist, Less Is More: spare, calm and restrained.

See your own room made over by AI
Take or choose a photo of a living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom or great room and pick a style. Decor DNA keeps your walls, windows and layout and redesigns the furnishings, colors and decor in about 15 seconds. Slide between before and after to see the change.
Want something different? Ask for a tweak in plain words, such as "keep my blue sofa" or "no glass tables".
A paint palette and a shopping list with every design
A pretty picture is only half the job, so every makeover comes with:
- A paint palette with color names and hex codes you can match at the paint counter.
- A shopping list of similar pieces in three budgets: budget, mid-range and premium.
Your designs are saved in My Rooms, so you can come back to them when you are ready to shop.
Renting? Turn on renter mode
Switch on "I rent this place" and every idea is one you can undo when you move out: no paint and no drilling. You still get the full look, just with removable changes.
