Terms of Service
1. Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Byzantine Glam, LLC ("we", "us") for the Decor DNA app and decordna.ai (together, "Decor DNA"). By using Decor DNA you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you download the app from the App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
2. What Decor DNA does
Decor DNA offers a style quiz based on the interior design styles in the book InDeZo™ and uses artificial intelligence to redesign photos of your rooms, with suggested paint colors and shopping lists. Designs are illustrations for inspiration. They are not professional design, architectural or construction advice, and colors on screen may differ from real paint. Always check paint samples, measurements and product details yourself, and if you rent, check your lease before making changes.
3. Your account
You need an account to make over rooms. Keep your sign-in details secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app.
4. Acceptable use
Upload only photos you have the right to use, preferably of spaces without people in them. Do not use Decor DNA to create unlawful, harmful or misleading content, to misrepresent a property you are selling or renting, or to interfere with the service (for example by scraping it or trying to get around its limits). Do not upload or ask for sexual, violent, hateful, harassing or otherwise objectionable content.
How we keep content safe. Every photo and note is checked automatically before a design is made, and requests that break these rules are refused. If a design shows something offensive or inappropriate, tap Report this image under it in the app: the image is removed from your rooms right away, and we review every report within 24 hours. We may block accounts that misuse Decor DNA, which stops them from creating designs.
5. Your content and our designs
You keep ownership of the photos you upload. You give us permission to store and process them, including through our AI providers, only to provide Decor DNA to you. You may use the designs Decor DNA creates for you for personal purposes and share them, including on social media.
The style names, style descriptions and related content come from the book InDeZo™: The New Language of Interior Design by the late Jeannie Beal Marini with Paige Holland, used under license. They remain the property of their owners and may not be copied or republished outside the app.
6. Plans and subscriptions
- Free: the style quiz and one watermarked room makeover.
- Decor DNA Pro Monthly: up to 20 room makeovers a month.
- Decor DNA Pro Yearly: up to 120 room makeovers a year, and up to 20 in any month.
Each Pro room includes 2 tweaks and 1 full-size image. Unused makeovers don't roll over. Subscriptions are purchased through Apple, renew automatically at the price shown at purchase unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and can be managed or cancelled in your iPhone's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. If we change prices, the new price applies from your next renewal after notice, as Apple's rules require.
7. Links to stores
Shopping lists link to other companies' websites. We don't sell those products and aren't responsible for them, their prices or their availability. We may earn a commission from some links.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep Decor DNA running, but it may occasionally be unavailable, and AI results can vary. We may update or change features. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Decor DNA is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for decisions or purchases you make based on a design. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Decor DNA in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date above, and for significant changes we'll let you know in the app. Continuing to use Decor DNA after a change means you accept the updated terms.
